- 90-year-old hand-painted advertisements
Caston as general contractor, in an office that never closed.
The office remained fully operational through the entire renovation, which meant the work was delivered over five carefully sequenced phases around the people working in it.
The finish scope was high-end and custom, including delicate sandblasting of existing brick walls to reveal hand-painted advertisements dating back 90 years.
How Caston Built It
The approach that kept the date
General contractor and craftsman
Caston was the general contractor and self-performed drywall, framing, sandblasting, paint, ceramic tiling, reclaimed wood flooring, and demolition.
Revealing 90 years of history
Existing brick walls were delicately sandblasted to reveal hand-painted advertisements dating back 90 years, custom finish work at its most careful.
Five phases, zero closure
The renovation was phased five ways so the office stayed fully operational from start to finish.
High-end custom finishes
Reclaimed wood flooring, ceramic tiling, and custom paint were executed to the standard an architecture firm's own office demands.
