A five-star waterfront renovation that never closed.

A complete renovation of a five-star luxury waterfront hotel, with guests in residence the entire time: the property remained open and operational throughout.

The finish scope, including acoustical plaster, had to meet a five-star standard while temporary walls and phasing kept the guest experience intact.

How Caston Built It

The approach that kept the date

  • Renovation around the guest

Temporary walls and careful phasing kept the hotel open and operational through the complete renovation.

  • Eight scopes, one team

Framing, fireproofing, acoustical ceilings, plaster, acoustical plaster, scaffolding, temporary walls, and drywall ran through Caston.

  • Acoustical plaster craft

Acoustical plaster finishes were executed by career plaster crews to a five-star standard.

  • Own access

Caston scaffolding supported the work without leaning on outside vendors inside a live property.
